Recognition and Declining of Advance-Enrollment Credits

Find out when credits from passed courses taken in advance are recognized after graduate-school admission and how to decline that recognition.

Automatic credit recognition after admission

A course passed through advance enrollment is automatically recognized for credit when you are admitted to this university’s graduate school. The recognized credit appears in your grade notification at the end of the first semester after admission.

How to decline recognized credit

After entering graduate school, you must complete a procedure for any course whose recognized credit you do not wish to receive. The procedure is announced by posted notice.
