How Class Attendance Is Confirmed

For 2026 classes at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology, attendance is confirmed using a student ID card, and some classes may record attendance more than once.

Attendance confirmation during class

Attendance is confirmed in the classroom by tapping your student ID card on a tablet device. Follow the attendance instructions given by the instructor. Depending on the class, attendance may be taken multiple times to check for lateness or leaving early.
