Credit Recognition: Eligibility and Exclusions

This page explains when credit recognition is unavailable, which TOEIC IP results are recognized, and which previously earned credits are excluded.

Credit recognition during a leave of absence

For the 2025 academic year, students on a leave of absence cannot apply for credit recognition, and credit recognition cannot be granted during the leave period. The same rule applies for the 2026 academic year: applications are not accepted and credit recognition is not carried out during a leave of absence.

TOEIC IP results

For the 2025 academic year, TOEIC IP results are recognized only when the IP test is conducted on campus. Unlike a public TOEIC test, a TOEIC IP test does not issue an Official Score Certificate; it reports results on a score report or score sheet.

Credits earned after admission

For the 2026 academic year, subjects for which you have already earned credits after enrolling at the university are not eligible for credit recognition.
