Applying for Credit Recognition

This page explains when to apply for credit recognition and what happens to course registration when recognition is requested.

Apply in advance and submit an application

For the 2025 academic year, students are advised to apply well in advance for credit recognition. Recognition based on a qualification may fulfill required credits and make progression or graduation possible. For the 2026 academic year, a course will not be recognized unless a credit recognition application has been submitted.

Cancellation of current course registration

For the 2026 academic year, if you are currently taking a course that is subject to credit recognition, your registration for that course will be canceled.
