Education Practicum: Orientation, Application, and Placement

This page outlines when to attend the orientation, submit the application, and request an education practicum placement.

Orientation and application

Students who wish to undertake an education practicum must attend the Education Practicum Orientation during the fall term of their second year, around December. They must then submit an Education Practicum Application Form to the academic affairs office.

Requesting a practicum placement

After submitting the application, students should approach their former junior high school or high school, or another school with which they have a connection, to request a practicum placement. They should begin this process during the spring vacation after completing their second year.
