Procedures When Your Leave of Absence Ends

This page explains the procedures required when a leave of absence ends, including what to do if you wish to continue your leave and how the procedure information is sent.

Procedures after the leave period ends

For the 2025 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of Engineering, you must complete one of the following procedures when your leave of absence ends: return to study, continue your leave of absence, or withdraw from the university. If you wish to continue your leave, you must complete the procedure again.

How the procedure information is sent

For the 2025 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of Engineering, information about the procedure after your leave of absence ends is sent to you by post around the time your leave period expires. The same postal notification applies to the 2026 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of System Design Engineering.

Continuing your leave of absence

For the 2026 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of Engineering, continuing your leave of absence requires a new procedure.
