Choosing September or March Graduation

When and how your graduation preference is confirmed

After first-semester grades are finalized, the university conducts the end-of-first-semester graduation assessment. This assessment takes place in late August. Students who meet the requirements for graduation at the end of the first semester are asked to choose between September graduation and graduation in the following March. The department chair or student advisor confirms each eligible student's preference after the assessment results are reported to the department chair.
