Eligibility for Assistant Professional Engineer Registration

For 2026 students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus, registration as an Assistant Professional Engineer is available through either of two eligibility pathways.

Two registration pathways

Students outside the EJ Department may register as an Assistant Professional Engineer by application after passing the Professional Engineer First-Stage Examination. Students who complete the Electrical and Electronic specialization in the JABEE program of the EJ Department may register as an Assistant Professional Engineer by application.
