Returning from a Leave of Absence

This page explains the required documents, advisor interview, approval notice, and tuition payment deadline for returning from a leave of absence.

Submit documents and pay tuition

Submit the documents required for returning from a leave of absence to the student welfare desk. If your leave was due to illness or injury, attach a medical certificate. You must also pay tuition by the tuition payment deadline for the semester in which you wish to return.

Advisor interview and approval

As a general rule, the return procedure includes an interview with your student advisor. Permission to return is granted through the advisor's seal on the application to return. After the return has been approved, a notice of permission to return will be sent by mail.

Complete the return procedure

If you fail to complete the return procedure, you may be removed from the university register.
