Readmission Eligibility After Withdrawal or Removal

Students who withdrew or were removed from enrollment may be eligible to apply for readmission under certain requirements. Readmission is subject to selection and available capacity, and disciplinary dismissal is excluded.

Who may apply for readmission

For the listed academic years and faculties, people who withdrew from the University or were removed from enrollment may apply for readmission under certain requirements. In the 2026 Faculty of Science and Technology and the 2026 Faculty of Engineering (Evening Division), a readmission system is available for people who withdrew or were removed from enrollment. The 2025 Faculty of Engineering and School of Future Science also provide a readmission system for people who meet certain requirements. For the 2026 School of Future Science, a person who withdrew or was removed from the register may apply. After withdrawal, readmission may be difficult and may not be possible.

Selection and available capacity

Readmission is not automatic. For the 2026 School of System Design and Technology and Faculty of Engineering, it may be permitted only when there is room within the enrollment capacity and after selection. The same capacity and selection conditions apply to the 2025 School of Future Science and the 2025 School of System Design and Technology. Permission is discretionary and may be granted only when capacity is available.

Disciplinary dismissal is not eligible

A person whose withdrawal or dismissal was disciplinary may not be readmitted. This exclusion applies in the 2025 School of Future Science and in the 2026 School of Future Science, School of System Design and Technology, Faculty of Science and Technology, and Faculty of Engineering. For the 2026 School of Future Science, other readmission cases may be permitted only after selection and when capacity is available.
