When Reinstatement Takes Effect

Reinstatement generally takes effect at the beginning of a semester. For Faculty of Engineering students in academic year 2026, the stated dates are April 1 for the first semester and September 5 for the second semester.

Reinstatement timing

As a general rule, reinstatement takes effect at the beginning of a semester. For students in the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2026, the reinstatement dates are April 1 for the first semester and September 5 for the second semester. The beginning-of-semester rule is also stated for the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2026 and for the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2025.
