Returning from a Leave of Absence

This page explains when you may apply to return from a leave of absence, whose approval is required, and the consequence of not returning within the total permitted leave period.

Application and approval for returning

For the 2025 academic year, students in the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus may apply to return once the reason for their leave of absence has ended. The application must be co-signed by the guarantor, and returning requires permission from the Faculty Dean.

Returning within the total leave period

For the 2026 academic year, students in the Faculty of System Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus who do not return even after exceeding the total leave-of-absence period are removed from the student register.
