Supplementary Examination Eligibility and Procedures

This page explains who may be considered for a supplementary examination and the required application procedures, including the procedure for specially designated retests.

Eligibility and application: 2025 Faculty of Engineering

For the 2025 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus, a student may be considered for a supplementary examination if they meet the eligibility requirements for the end-of-semester examination and complete the prescribed procedure within the period designated by the Faculty Office.

Procedure for specially designated retests

For a specially designated retest, students must follow the procedure prescribed for supplementary examinations.

Eligibility and application: 2026 Division II

For the 2026 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus, students in the Division II of the Faculty of Engineering may be considered for a supplementary examination if they meet the eligibility requirements for the end-of-semester examination and complete the prescribed procedure within the period designated by the Faculty Office.
