Teaching Licence Requirements for Teacher Recruitment Examinations

Some local governments and private schools require applicants to plan to obtain both junior-high and high-school teaching licences before they can take a teacher recruitment examination or aptitude test.

When both licences may be required

You may not be eligible to take a teacher recruitment examination or aptitude test unless you are expected to obtain both junior-high and high-school teaching licences. This requirement applies in some local governments and private schools, rather than universally. It is particularly common for mathematics and science: quite a few local governments require candidates to be expected to obtain both licences when they take the teacher recruitment examination.
