Tuition Deferment: Payment Periods and Return-from-Leave Restrictions

This page explains the permitted tuition deferment periods and the restriction that applies during the semester in which a student returns from a leave of absence.

Permitted Payment Periods

For the 2025 academic year, approved tuition deferment for the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus may extend until the end of June for the first semester and until the end of December for the second semester. For the 2026 academic year, the permitted deferment period for the Faculty of System Design Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus is also until the end of June for the first semester and until the end of December for the second semester.

Semester of Return from Leave

For the 2025 academic year in the Faculty of Future Science at Tokyo Senju Campus, tuition deferment procedures cannot be completed for the semester in which a student returns from a leave of absence.
