Using Your Student ID Card to Purchase a Commuter Pass

The sticker on the back of your student ID card serves as your commuting certificate. Students in the specified 2026 faculties must complete the sticker and present their student ID when purchasing a commuter pass.

The reverse-side sticker is your commuting certificate

For 2026 students at Tokyo Senju Campus in the School of Science and Technology for Future Life, the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, and the School of System Design and Technology, the sticker on the reverse side of the student ID card serves as the certificate of school commuting when purchasing a commuter pass.

What to complete before purchasing

For 2026 students in the School of Science and Technology for Future Life at Tokyo Senju Campus, when using or purchasing a commuter pass, write your current address and commuting route on the sticker on the back of your student ID card. Complete the purchase application form and present your student ID card when purchasing the pass.
