Evaluation Review: Eligibility, Timing, and Application

For 2025 students at the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of Engineering, this page explains when an evaluation review may be requested, the required grounds, the review periods, and how the application method is announced.

When an Evaluation Review May Be Requested

You may apply for an evaluation review if there is an obvious error in the evaluation, taking into account the evaluation method stated in the syllabus, your learning attitude, submitted work, examination results, and similar information. The application must be submitted within the prescribed period.

Required Grounds

An evaluation-review request must identify specific grounds. Requests that lack specificity, or that are simply pleas or appeals for leniency, will not be accepted.

Evaluation-Review Periods

The prescribed evaluation-review period is planned for early September for the first semester and early March for the second semester.

Details of the evaluation-review application method will be announced by notice.
