Periodic Health Examination: Requirements and Consequences

The periodic health examination is conducted every spring for all students in the 2025 School of System Design and Technology scope. Not attending can prevent the issue of a health examination certificate and affect participation in certain classes, training, and activities.

Who Must Attend and Why

For the 2025 academic year, all students in the School of System Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus undergo a periodic health examination every spring. The examination is based on law and is intended to support early disease prevention and detection and to maintain and promote health in the university's group-living environment.

What May Happen If You Do Not Attend

For students in the School of System Design and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2025 academic year, a health examination certificate will not be issued if the student has not undergone the periodic health examination. This certificate may be needed for employment, further study, part-time work, or similar purposes. Nonattendance may also affect participation in physical education practical classes, short-term English training, other practical training, and off-campus activities through clubs. For students in the Faculty of Engineering, Division II at Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2026 academic year, students are required to attend because nonattendance may likewise prevent the issue of a health examination certificate and affect participation in physical education practical classes, short-term English training, other practical training, and off-campus club activities.
