Preliminary Withdrawal Recommendation and Guarantor Notification

This page explains when a preliminary recommendation to withdraw may be issued and when the student’s guarantor is notified in writing, for the specified academic years and campuses.

Academic Year 2026: Tokyo Senju Campus, Faculty of Engineering

Following the interview, if the student appears to lack motivation to continue studying, the department chair may issue a preliminary recommendation to withdraw. The recommendation is also notified to the student’s guarantor in writing.

Academic Year 2025: Saitama Hatoyama Campus, Faculty of Science and Engineering

A preliminary recommendation to withdraw is also notified to the student’s guarantor in writing.
