Recognition of Advance-Enrollment Graduate Course Credits

This page explains how credits earned through advance enrollment in graduate courses are treated after admission to graduate school, including how to decline recognition.

How the credits are recognized after admission

For students covered by this rule, courses passed through advance enrollment in graduate courses are automatically recognized as credits when they enter the university's graduate school. The recognition is reflected when grades are notified at the end of the first semester after admission. These credits are not recognized as undergraduate course credits.

Declining recognition for a course

After entering graduate school, students may complete a procedure for any recognized course whose credit recognition they do not want. The procedure method is announced through notices.
