Academic Examination Methods, Timing, Rooms, and Seating

Find where examination procedures are announced, when written examinations are held, and how to confirm your examination room and seating.

Examination methods and timing

The Academic Examination Guidelines announce how academic examinations are conducted. They may cover written tests, including end-of-semester examinations, midterm examinations, and tests held during individual classes, as well as reports. The guidelines are published through UNIPA notices. For the 2025 academic year Faculty of Engineering scope, written examinations are held after the guidelines are announced, either on a regular class day or on a designated examination day.

Examination rooms and seating

For examinations held during class, the examination room is generally the regular classroom for that class. However, a different room may be assigned, so confirm the room in the Academic Examination Guidelines. If a seating chart is specified, the class instructor or the Academic Affairs section of the Tokyo Senju Campus Administration Office will announce it. This seating-information arrangement applies to the 2026 academic year Faculty of Engineering scope and the 2025 academic year Faculty of Future Science scope.
