How to Register as an Associate Professional Engineer

This page explains the routes to registration as an associate professional engineer through the first examination or completion of specified JABEE programs.

Registration after passing the first examination

In the 2025 academic year, students in the Faculty of Future Science or the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus who pass the first Professional Engineer Examination can register as an associate professional engineer by submitting an application.

Registration after completing the EJ Department program

In the 2025 academic year, graduates who complete the Electrical and Electronic Specialization in the EJ Department's JABEE program can register as an associate professional engineer by submitting an application.

Qualification through the JABEE program in the Architectural and Urban Environment Study Model

In the 2026 academic year, students at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Engineering who complete the JABEE program and graduate from the university can obtain the associate professional engineer qualification through registration.
