Teaching Course Enrolment Fee and Enrolment Procedures

This page explains the fee, required submissions, timing, and initial steps for enrolling in the teaching course.

Fee payment and required submissions

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus, students in the Faculty of Engineering (Evening Division) and the Faculty of Science and Technology should pay the 10,000-yen teaching-course enrolment fee by the designated deadline and complete the survey about the teaching licence they wish to obtain. The deadline must be observed strictly. In the Faculty of Science and Technology, the 2025 and 2026 procedures also require payment of the fee and submission of the teaching-course enrolment application in April of the first year. For 2026, students must additionally register for teaching-related subjects and complete Teaching Course Record 6.

Starting the teaching course after guidance

For the 2025 academic year in the Faculty of Engineering (Evening Division) at Tokyo Senju Campus, attending the guidance session and then paying the teaching-course enrolment fee enables you to begin taking the teaching course.

Initial enrolment step in 2026

For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Tokyo Senju Campus, Step 1 includes paying the teaching-course enrolment fee and submitting the teaching-course enrolment application.

How fee details are announced

For the 2026 academic year in the Faculty of Science at Saitama Hatoyama Campus, information about payment of the teaching-course enrolment fee is announced through UNIPA and guidance sessions. Further details are provided on page 199.
