Recognition of Previously Earned Credits

Eligibility and application procedure

For the 2025 academic year, students who wish to have previously earned credits recognized must apply by the specified deadline to the Academic Affairs section of the Tokyo Senju Campus Office. Attach a transcript issued by the school where the credits were earned and the relevant course syllabi or equivalent course outlines. Study completed at a junior college or in an advanced course at a college of technology, as well as other study separately specified by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, may be eligible for recognition. Among the prior credits or study covered by these provisions, items that the Faculty Council considers educationally beneficial may be recognized as credits earned or courses completed at the university after admission.
