Requesting Materials from Other Libraries and Campuses

If the university does not hold the material you need, available support includes requesting materials from external institutions, other university libraries, or other campuses.

Using materials from other libraries and campuses

When the university does not hold a needed material, the library can investigate external institutions and other university libraries. It can request photocopies or loans of library materials and issue an introduction letter. For students in the Systems Design and Technology Faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2026, books held by other campuses can also be requested for use. The external-library support described here applies to students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in academic year 2025 and to students in the Second Division of the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus in academic year 2026.
