Inter-Faculty Transfer: Eligibility, Application Period, and Fee

This page explains the eligibility requirements, application period, and selection fee for inter-faculty transfers at the Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2026 academic year.

Eligibility requirements

An inter-faculty transfer may be permitted after selection only when the destination faculty has available capacity. Even when capacity is available, students must meet certain conditions, including having excellent personal qualities and academic performance and having compelling unavoidable reasons for the transfer.

Application period and selection fee

Students who wish to transfer from the following academic year must apply between October 1 and October 31 through the Student Support Center's Student Welfare Office. A separate selection fee of 5,000 yen is charged for the inter-faculty transfer selection.
