This page outlines the application, interviews, approval, notification, and deadlines for withdrawing from the university, with separate details for each campus and academic year.

Withdrawal procedure at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in 2026

If you wish to withdraw, declare your intention at the Student Affairs and Welfare desk. You must submit a withdrawal request with your student ID attached and obtain permission to withdraw. The procedure includes interviews with your student advisor and the head of your academic group. After the interviews, receive the complete set of withdrawal documents at the Student Affairs and Welfare desk. If you receive a scholarship, state this when you declare your intention to withdraw.

Withdrawal procedure, deadlines, and notification at Tokyo Senju Campus in 2025

For the Faculty of Engineering, Division II, interviews are held first with the student advisor and then with the department chair. The withdrawal request must receive the required seal, and withdrawal permission must be obtained. After the withdrawal is approved, a withdrawal permission notice is sent by post. Withdrawal is generally effective at the end of a semester: September 4 for the first semester and March 31 for the second semester. If the procedure deadline for the semester in which you wish to withdraw has passed, the withdrawal is treated as taking effect at the end of the following semester.
