Transfer from Engineering Division II to the Faculty of Engineering

Credit requirements and transfer year

For a first-year student in Engineering Division II, grades through the end of the first-year fall semester must show at least 36 credits in total, including all courses designated by the desired department. If the student has not earned credits for all of those designated courses, they may not sit the transfer examination.

For a second-year student, grades through the end of the second-year fall semester must show at least 60 credits in total, including all courses designated by the desired department. Transfer is normally to the second year. Transfer to the third year may also be possible, depending on the student's preference and the receiving department's determination. A student who has not earned credits for all designated courses of the desired department may not sit the transfer examination.
