Credit Requirements for the Middle-School Type 1 Mathematics Teaching License

For the 2025 academic year at the Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Future Science, this page explains the required specialist-course credits and mandatory mathematics teaching-method courses.

Required Specialist Credits and Teaching-Method Courses

To obtain the middle-school Type 1 mathematics teaching license, you must earn at least 20 credits from the listed subject-specific specialist courses, including all shaded courses. You must also complete both Mathematics Education Methods and Mathematics Instruction Methods.
