Transfer Eligibility for the System Design Engineering Faculty

This page explains the credit and designated-course requirements for students in the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division who wish to transfer to the second year of the System Design Engineering Faculty.

Eligibility by Current Year

For the 2026 academic year, Faculty of Engineering, Second Division students may transfer to the second year of the System Design Engineering Faculty through selection if they meet the following requirements: First-year students must have earned at least 36 credits, including the courses designated for their intended department, based on their grades through the end of the second semester of the first year. Second-year students must have earned at least 60 credits, including the courses designated for their intended department, based on their grades through the end of the second semester of the second year.

Required Designated Courses

Students who have not completed all courses designated for their intended department cannot take the transfer examination for the System Design Engineering Faculty.
