Changing from the General Student Course to the Working-Adult Course
For students in the Faculty of Engineering Division II at Tokyo Senju Campus, a course change may be made at advancement to the second or third year if the applicable GPA, employment, leave-of-absence, and progression requirements are met.
When you can change courses
The change from the General Student Course to the Working-Adult Course may be made when advancing to the second year or when advancing to the third year. This timing rule applies to students who entered in academic year 2018 or later.
Requirements for the course change
For a change at advancement to the second year, your GPA at the end of the first year must be at least 2.500. You must also continue working for a company or similar organization from the second year onward. You must not previously have taken a leave of absence or similar. However, a change may be permitted in some cases when the leave was for work-related reasons or childbirth or child-rearing.
