Teacher-Training Course Records and Licence Requirements

This page explains the course record required for the teacher-training course and the procedures students must complete to obtain a teaching licence.

Creating the teacher-training course record

For the 2025 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology, students taking the teacher-training course are instructed to attend explanatory sessions and complete related activities, then create their course record. The record, called a course record, must be created in WebClass to document the student’s course history. A teaching licence cannot be obtained without creating this record.

Completing all required procedures and checks

For the 2026 academic year at the Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Technology, the procedures and checks associated with the teacher-training course take more time than those for students who are not taking the course. A teaching licence can be obtained only after all of these procedures and checks have been completed.
