Working-Adult Course Eligibility and Selection

For the 2025 academic year, this page explains the qualifying work-experience routes, how technical work is defined, and the selection process for affiliation with the Working-Adult Course.

Qualifying Routes

At the time of admission, you may qualify for the Working-Adult Course through any one of these routes: having at least three years of work experience at a company or similar organization; having less than three years of such work experience and intending to continue working for a company or similar organization after admission; or having at least one year but less than three years of such work experience and being at least 25 years old.

What Counts as Work Experience

For these eligibility requirements, work experience is envisaged as experience at a technical company. Experience that is directly or indirectly involved in technical work is also included.

Selection for Affiliation

If you satisfy any one of the three requirements, you may undergo selection by interview for affiliation with the Working-Adult Course. Affiliation is permitted after selection.
