How Open Course Credits Count

For the 2025 academic year at Tokyo Senju Campus in the Faculty of Future Science, credits earned through the Humanities and Social Sciences Open Courses Program count toward graduation and progression requirements and are included in the semester credit limit.

Graduation and progression requirements

Credits earned from courses taken through the Humanities and Social Sciences Open Courses Program are included in the credits required for graduation. They are also included in the credits required for progression to the next academic level.

Semester credit limit

Courses covered by the Humanities and Social Sciences Open Courses Program count toward the maximum number of credits that may be taken in a semester.
