When Advance-Enrollment Credits Count Toward an Advanced Teaching License

An advance-enrollment course may be designated for an advanced teaching license, but its credits are not valid if the course has been discontinued from the curriculum applicable when you enter graduate school.

Effect of curriculum discontinuation

Some courses available through advance enrollment are designated as courses for an advanced teaching license. However, even if you pass such a course through advance enrollment, its credits are not recognized as valid credits toward the license if the course has been discontinued from the curriculum applicable when you enter graduate school.
