For the 2025 Life Sciences Course Model, the required credits differ depending on whether your secondary course is in another academic field or your own academic field.

Required Credits for the Life Sciences Course Model

For the main course, 18 credits are required in main-course specialized subjects in both secondary-course options. If your secondary course is in another academic field, you need 19 credits in home-discipline common subjects and 9 credits in the designated subject group. If your secondary course is in your own academic field, you need 23 credits in home-discipline common subjects and 5 credits in secondary-course specialized subjects.
