Planning Courses and Checking Progression Requirements
For the Electronic and Information Engineering course model, learn when to choose your main and minor courses and how to plan courses against the relevant progression requirements.
Choosing Your Main and Minor Courses
In your second year, you decide on a main course and a minor course. Subjects offered by the academic field are classified as either common academic-field subjects or course-specialized subjects. Course-specialized subjects carry a course code identifying the course to which they belong. Plan your courses by comparing the subject-group categories in the course allocation table, the course codes, and the progression requirements table.
Progression Requirements for a Minor Course
The progression requirements for taking a course as your minor differ depending on the academic field you choose as your main course. Check the progression requirements and earn the required credits with sufficient time to spare so that you do not fall short.
