Semester Credit Registration Limit

For the 2025 academic year, registration is generally limited to 22 credits per semester, with specific exclusions and an eligibility-based increase of up to 4 credits.

Standard limit and excluded courses

Registration is generally limited to 22 credits per semester. Free-choice courses are not included in this limit. Intensive courses held during the summer, winter, or spring vacation periods are also excluded from the 22-credit limit.

Eligibility to register for up to 4 additional credits

Students who completed the previous semester with at least 18 registered credits and a GPA of 3.1 or higher may register for up to 4 credits above the standard limit in the following semester. Registration cannot exceed the applicable limit.
