Consequences of Examination Misconduct

This page explains the immediate actions and possible disciplinary measures for misconduct during examinations.

Immediate and Disciplinary Consequences

If a student shows poor examination conduct or violates an invigilator’s instructions during an examination, the invigilator may confiscate the answer sheet and order the student to leave the examination room. The Dean may then, following deliberation by the faculty meeting, impose one of the prescribed measures. The measure will be publicly announced, and the student’s guarantor will be notified. One possible measure is to invalidate the examination concerned. Another is to invalidate some or all of the end-of-semester examinations in the semester to which the examination belongs.
