Eligibility to Sit an Academic Assessment

For the 2026 academic year, students must meet the stated eligibility requirements to sit an academic assessment. Additional requirements apply to the second assessment in an annual course.

General eligibility requirements

To sit an academic assessment, you must be registered for the course, have paid tuition and other fees through the relevant semester, and have attended the course regularly. You cannot sit an academic assessment during a leave-of-absence period.

Second assessment for an annual course

If an annual course has two academic assessments—one in each semester—you must have sat the first-semester assessment before you can sit the second-semester assessment.
