When a Boiler Engineer License Is Required

A boiler engineer license is required to handle boilers other than small-scale and small boilers.

Boilers Requiring a License

Only a person who holds a boiler engineer license may handle boilers, except for small-scale boilers and small boilers. This rule is supported for the 2026 academic year for the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, at Tokyo Senju Campus, and for the 2025 academic year for the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus.
