Class Measures for Transport Suspensions and Severe Weather

This page explains the 2026 class measures for Future Science Faculty students at Tokyo Senju Campus when specified transport services are suspended or a storm warning is issued.

When the transport suspension measures apply

In principle, the stated class measures apply when transport services are suspended because of a strike or other circumstances, or when a natural disaster occurs. If an emergency develops, separate class measures may be introduced. The transport rule applies when suspension of all JR lines in the Tokyo metropolitan area, or of private railway or subway lines serving the campus's nearest stations, Kitasenju Station and Keisei Sekiya Station, is reported because of a strike or similar event.

Classes affected by the suspension time

The cancelled class periods depend on when service is suspended: a suspension at 6:00 a.m. cancels Periods 1 and 2; a suspension at 9:00 a.m. cancels Periods 3 and 4; and a suspension at 3:00 p.m. cancels Period 5.

If service has resumed by 6:00 a.m.

If the transport suspension has been lifted by 6:00 a.m., classes are held as usual.

Storm warnings in Tokyo's 23 wards

When a storm warning is in effect in Tokyo's 23 wards, the applicable class measures are applied.
