Copyright Permission and Responsibility When Copying

As a general rule, you need permission from the copyright holder to copy a copyrighted work. The person who makes the copy is fully responsible for copyright matters.

Permission is generally required

Copyright Act Article 21 gives the author the exclusive right to reproduce their work. Therefore, as a general rule, permission from the copyright holder is required before copying a copyright-protected work. Copying without permission is allowed only when all conditions prescribed by the Copyright Act are met.

Responsibility for copyright matters

The person who copies a work bears full responsibility for all copyright matters relating to that copying.
