Course Registration and Exam Eligibility

You must register for a course to attend it, take its examinations, and receive credit. The specific consequences depend on your academic year, campus, and faculty.

Engineering Faculty, Tokyo Senju Campus: 2026

For the 2026 academic year, students in the Engineering Faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus may not attend or take an examination for a course that they have not registered for. They are not eligible to take the academic examination, and credit will not be awarded for the unregistered course.

Courses Not Registered for in 2025

For the 2025 academic year, the following rules apply to the stated faculties and campuses: students at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the Faculty of Science and Engineering may not attend an unregistered course or take its end-of-semester examination. Students in the Faculty of Systems Design and Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus may not attend or take an examination for an unregistered course. Students in the Engineering Faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus may not attend or take an examination for an unregistered course; they are also not eligible to take the academic examination, and credit will not be awarded.

Engineering Faculty, Second Division: Attendance and Examinations

For the 2025 academic year, students in the Second Division of the Engineering Faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus may not attend or take an examination for a course that they have not registered for.

Engineering Faculty, Second Division: Eligibility and Credit

For the 2025 academic year, students in the Second Division of the Engineering Faculty at Tokyo Senju Campus are not eligible to take the academic examination for an unregistered course, and credit will not be awarded for that course.
