When Course Credits Are Recognized
Credit recognition generally takes place when the assigned term for a course ends, with specific exceptions for some courses.
2025 School of Science and Technology students at Saitama Hatoyama Campus
Credit recognition takes place at the end of the assigned term in which course enrollment ends—that is, at the end of the first or second semester. The same timing applies when repeating a course, and credit recognition generally does not take place at other times. Exceptions include R-recognized courses and some intensive lecture courses.
2026 School of Future Science students at Tokyo Senju Campus
As a general rule, credits are recognized when the assigned term in which the course ends comes to an end.
