Abilities Covered by DP5

The content of DP5 depends on the programme and academic year. For the 2025 academic year at the Faculty of Science and Technology on the Saitama Hatoyama Campus, DP5 is to acquire basic language ability for communicating in a global environment and a broad education. For the 2025 academic year at the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division, on the Tokyo Senju Campus, DP5 is to possess a global perspective and general abilities, including communication and presentation skills, to work as a practical engineer in the future. For the 2026 academic year in the Department of Information and Communication Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, on the Tokyo Senju Campus, DP5 is to have language, communication, and presentation skills.
