Disciplinary Sanctions and Grounds for Dismissal

For the 2025 academic year, the Faculty of Engineering at Tokyo Senju Campus recognizes three types of disciplinary sanction and specifies the circumstances in which dismissal may be imposed.

Types of disciplinary sanction

Depending on the circumstances, disciplinary sanctions may consist of dismissal, suspension, or reprimand.

Grounds for dismissal

Dismissal may be imposed on a student whose conduct is so poor that improvement cannot be expected, or on a student who seriously disrupts the University's order or otherwise seriously violates the proper responsibilities of a student.
