Limits on Enrollment Duration

These rules explain the maximum time permitted in the same academic year and the maximum enrollment period for specified faculties and campuses in the 2025 academic year.

Faculty of Science and Technology: Four-Year Limit in the Same Academic Year

For the Faculty of Science and Technology at Saitama Hatoyama Campus in the 2025 academic year, periods of leave of absence are excluded. If a student remains in the same academic year for more than four years in total and cannot progress or graduate, the student will be removed from enrollment.

Faculty of Engineering, Second Division: Maximum Enrollment Period

For the Faculty of Engineering, Second Division at Tokyo Senju Campus in the 2025 academic year, a student who exceeds the maximum permitted enrollment period will be removed from enrollment. The supplied rule does not state the maximum number of years.
