Examination Arrival, Departure, and Student ID Rules

For 2026 end-of-semester examinations at the Tokyo Senju Campus Faculty of Engineering, this page explains arrival times, late admission, leaving the room, and student ID requirements.

Arrival, Late Admission, and Leaving the Examination Room

Examination takers must enter the examination room by the scheduled starting time and keep their student ID on the desk throughout the examination. A late arrival is permitted up to 30 minutes after the examination begins, but the examination time is not extended. Students may leave the examination room only after 40 minutes have elapsed from the start of the examination. The handling of the 30-minute late-arrival rule and the 40-minute departure rule may be changed following deliberation by the relevant Faculty Professors' Meeting or Graduate School Committee.
