Freely Selected Completed Subjects

For the 2025 Engineering curriculum at Tokyo Senju Campus, this page explains which credits count as freely selected completed subjects and the exception for Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Credits that count as freely selected completed subjects

Freely selected completed subjects include: credits earned beyond the graduation-required credits in each category of Common Education Subjects or Specialized Education Subjects; credits earned by taking courses in another faculty or department, excluding free courses; credits earned through the student-exchange credit-transfer system of Tokyo-area science and technology universities; and international-student courses other than Japanese Affairs A and Japanese Affairs B. The international-student courses are available only to international students.

Exception for Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EJ) has no freely selected completed subjects category.
